30 years experience in meteorology.
24-year career as an Air Force Officer took him to many locations in the United States as well as Europe, the Far East, the Middle East, and Central America. His Air Force career included a four-year tour with the Hurricane Hunters and a four-year European assignment.
Faculty at Florida Institute of Technology's School of Aeronautics
Forensic meteorologist in which Michael has testified and prepared reports for trials.

He holds a Master's degree from St. Louis University.
PhD from Florida Institute of Technology.
